Digital Marketing Leader Klaviyo Deserves A Strong Buy

Klaviyo's valuation is still very reasonable - we're getting a 20% revenue grower at just 3.7x sales and a 28% earnings grower for just 24x earnings. The PEG for 2026 is extremely low at 0.5.

Klaviyo's rich proprietary customer data is a huge competitive advantage

Klaviyo's integrated data platform with its rich proprietary data of customer behavior gives it a huge competitive advantage for optimizing clients' marketing campaigns. As we move towards agentic AI and more autonomy, Klaviyo's data and integration should be a natural edge for customers looking to optimize their marketing campaigns with the right amount of training and analysis to predict customer behavior. Klaviyo is also seeing this flexibility and scale play out with the growth of 50% quarter over quarter for multichannel campaigns, a key focus area for its customers.

As agents become ubiquitous, Klaviyo should be in a good position to take advantage of it with its new agentic AI product, Composer, which got 95,000 users in the first month alone. Composer could become its next growth engine.

I was also impressed that growth was strongest for large customers - customers with over 50,000 in Annual Recurring Revenue grew 36%, compared to total customer growth of 16%. Salesforce's acquisition of close competitor Braze at a 58% premium suggests strong upside for Klaviyo.

The valuation is still very reasonable - we're getting a 20% revenue grower at just 3.7x sales and a 28% earnings grower for just 24x earnings. The PEG for 2026 is extremely low at 0.5.

Klaviyo's strong growth abroad, and its recent acquisition of an 8-figure client for multichannel marketing, are additional positives for the company.
